About

Mission Bay Transportation Management Association is a non-profit organization committed to maximizing access and mobility to, from, and within the Mission Bay development area.  We strive to accomplish this through efficiently managing travel demand through strategies which discourage single-occupant vehicle (SOV) trips and otherwise lessen the carbon footprint created by trips to and from the area.

We encourage employees, residents, and visitors to use alternative transportation modes such as carpooling, transit, bicycling and walking, which reduce single occupant automobile use and traffic congestion, pollution, and other automobile-associated impacts.

To this end, our programs and services are designed to promote and facilitate the use of public transit as the highest priority and preferred mode of transportation.  We also work cooperatively with our neighbors including UCSF and other nearby employment, educational and entertainment centers to collectively address area-wide traffic and parking concerns.
