About the Shuttles at Mission Bay

AREA SHUTTLES:  MISSION BAY SHUTTLE, UCSF SHUTTLE

Two private shuttles provide service to the Mission Bay area.  Mission Bay Shuttles are free and open to the public.

The UCSF shuttle is for UCSF employees and residents only; an ID badge is required to board.

Shuttle Service Overview

Mission Bay Shuttle:

Operates four routes Mon-Fri in peak AM and PM from Civic Center BART Station,Caltrain and TransBay Terminals to Mission Bay residential and business destinations.

WEST route serves Berry and Owens Streets.

EAST route serves serves  Mission Bay Blvd North and South

SOUTH route serves Illinois Street and CCA on 8th St

CALTRAIN-TRANSBAY route serves Owens, Berry, MBBS, and Illinois streets

Early service is provided via two Loop routes between 6am and 7am, and after 10am.

Loop A serves CCA, Owens and Illinois areas

Loop B serves Berry, MBBN and MBBS areas

UCSF Shuttle: (UCSF ID badge required)

Operates RED Line route Mon-Fri from 16th St. BART to UCSF Mission Bay campus on Fourth Street.  Other buses serve other UCSF campuses.  The RED Line operates from 6am to 7:30pm with service every 15-30 minutes.  For more information, please visit UCSF Campus Life Services website at: campuslifeservices.ucsf.edu
